Obama has officially dropped the public option in his so-called healthcare reform. He folded like a house of cards the moment the lobbyists started beating at his door. I honestly can't see why you oppose him, he has increased the defense budget, failed to pull out of the middle east, given trillions to private corporations, and now he is eating out of the hands of corporate America like the well-trained dog he is. Nixon could only have dreamed of telling the kinds of lies that Obama is getting away with, and even Dick Cheney himself could not fold to the lobbyists quite so beautifully. I am ashamed to admit that I was actually very hopeful about Barack Obama, I was naive enought to think that he could actually bring some of the change we so desperately need in this country, but all he has done is proven that our government is nothing more than a wholly-owned subsidiary of corporate America. All hail Obama, king of the center-right.
